Add a counter to your space

Firstly Click Here to take you to amazing counters. You can sign up and register for a free account.
 
Once you are registered log in and pick the design you want for your counter.
 
On your space click 'edit' 'settings' and then 'statistics' This enable you to get how many hits you've had so far.
 
Back on your counter page, it will ask you for the number you wish your counter to start at. Enter the number from your statistcs.
 
Confirm everything and then you will get a new page up. The page will give you an HTML code. Copy this by highlighting, right click and COPY.
 
In your blog click HTML and paste, using either right click and paste or ctrl and v
 
Click on HTML again and you should see your counter. Publish the entry and you'll have a counter

Add your very own guestmap.....

Firstly you will need to Click here and register for a new account. If you already have a bravenet account you will need to log in.
 
Add your personal details including the url of the space you want to host the guestmap and save it.
 
Then click on the guestmap button. Choose the type of image from those provided.
 
You will then be given a HTML code for your map. Copy this by highlighting it, use your mouse to right click and save.
 
Open a new blog. Click the HTML button and paste your HTML code. To paste simply press ctrl and v.
 
Uncheck the HTML button and you should see some icons for your guestmap.
 
Publish and there you go, you have a guestmap.
 
 
 

Make your space public

Firstly you need to click on edit space in the top left hand corner.
 
Next click settings where you will get a row of options.
 
Click on permissions, scroll down and you will see; private, messenger and public.
 
If you want people to be able to view your space and leave comments choose the public option and then click on save at the bottom of the page.
 
Having your space public means that others can leave you comments and replies to comments you leave them

Create a guestbook

Create a blog entitled 'guestbook' or something similar. Write your blog as normal , demanding people to sign your guestbook hehe. Publish it as normal. Get the permalink by clicking on permalink underneath your blog entry.
Save this and keep it safe. Back in edit mode, add a custom list. This is easily done click 'customize' then 'module's and add a custom list. You can call your list whatever you like. Add a new entry to your list call it guestbook, click her, sign me, whatever you fancy calling it. In the second box that says url add your permalink. Click save and there you go have a guestbook:0)
